The judges, Prof Jo-Marie Claassen;
Dr Maridien Schneider; Dr Annemare Kotze and Ms Liani Swanepoel, were unanimous in their praise of the excellent quality of the entries. Dr Annemare Kotze, of the Dept of Ancient Studies of the University, summed this up by expressing a wish that she could have given each entrant a prize. She stressed that the teachers of the participating schools were to be congratulated on the quality of their teaching as well as the creativity of the learners under their inspiring guidance.		  Personification of Aequitas on an as of Antoninus Pius.
