CASA Conference 2009: Second call for papers

 

BOUNDARIES AND CROSSINGS

 

The 27th biennial conference of the Classical Association of South Africa will be held at the University of Pretoria from Monday 29th to Thursday 2nd July 2009.

 

The general theme of the conference is BOUNDARIES AND CROSSINGS, but we welcome offers of papers on any theme related to the Graeco-Roman world and the Classical Tradition.

 

We welcome the offer of papers from specialists in Classics and cognate interdisciplinary fields, and postgraduate students.  Titles and abstracts (c. 100 words) should be sent to dr Koos Kritzinger by e-mail (koos.kritzinger@up.ac.za) by 31st January 2009.

KVSA-KONGRES 2009: Tweede uitnodiging om ‘n referaat te lewer

 

GRENSE EN OORSKRYDINGS

 

Die 27ste tweejaarlikse kongres van die Klassieke Vereniging van die Suid Afrika sal van Maandag 29 Junie tot Donderdag 2 Julie 2009 by die Universiteit van Pretoria aangebied word.

 

Die algemene kongrestema is GRENSE EN OORSKRYDINGS, maar referate oor enige tema wat verband hou met die Grieks-Romeinse węreld en die Klassieke tradisie is welkom.

 

Ons verwelkom die aanbieding van referate deur spesialiste in die Klassieke en verwante interdissiplinęre vakgebiede asook nagraadse studente.  Stuur assebief die titel en uittreksel van die beoogde referaat (c. 100 woorde) per e-pos aan Koos Kritzinger (koos.kritzinger@up.ac.za) voor of op  31 Januarie 2009.
